Ductile Iron Casting Formwork Tie Nut

The EVERSTAR Ductile Iron Casting Formwork Tie Nut, also known as a Formwork Wing Nut, is a heavy-duty fastening component used with threaded tie rods in concrete wall formwork systems.

The nut is tightened onto the tie rod outside the formwork to clamp the panels and walers securely in position during concrete pouring. Its integral load-bearing flange distributes the clamping force over the supporting surface, while the two strong wings provide convenient tightening and removal.

Manufactured from ductile cast iron, the tie nut combines casting strength, toughness and impact resistance. Thread size, flange diameter, weight, material grade and surface treatment can be customized to match different formwork tie rod systems and project requirements.
