Aluminum Formwork Form Flat Tie

The EVERSTAR Aluminum Formwork Flat Tie is a high-strength steel wall tie designed to secure and accurately space opposing aluminum form panels during concrete placement. Although it is used with aluminum formwork, the tie itself is manufactured from selected steel to provide the required tensile performance.

The product shown features a narrow central tie section, enlarged rectangular end plates, round pin holes and controlled breakback details near both ends. The round holes connect to compatible form pins and wedges, while the fixed tie length determines the distance between the opposing form faces and therefore the finished concrete-wall thickness.

Full-size and nominal-size versions can be manufactured according to the customer's formwork system. Overall length, hole-to-hole dimension, form-face distance, tie width, thickness, pin-hole diameter, breakback position, material performance and packaging are produced from approved drawings or physical samples.
